Twitter censors user for calling himself a redneck: A Twitter user shared screenshots of his censorship notice. The user was responding to the question, "What book changed your life?" They tweeted: "I already knew I was more conservative than most of the people I knew and loved. Film critic Michael Nedved's 'Hollywood vs. America' (1992) helped me find ways to express my points of view that couldn't be shoved into a stereotypical redneck-shaped box. Thanks, @MedvedSHOW!" Twitter found that this tweet violated its "rules against hateful conduct." This was upheld after an appeal. The user was forced to delete the tweet in order to unlock their account.
