X community adds a context note to user's post: An X (formerly Twitter) user posted  "'If you’ve had the Covid Vaccine and wish to donate blood…please call this number…' -The American Red Cross. This is infuriating. Life in Prison isn’t enough for these Murderers." The post included a video of Alex Jones talking about the subject. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. The Red Cross is identifying people with recent ‘live attenuated’ vaccines, which contain weakened viruses, to prevent the risk of transmitting weakened SARS-CoV-2 to vulnerable recipients. Individuals can donate blood if their vaccination was more than 2 weeks ago. redcrossblood.org/faq.html#eligi…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
