Kennedy, Jr.: Libs of TikTok posted an interview clip on May 5 saying, “RFK thinks it’s ok for minors to get s*x change surgery as long as their parents give permission. He refuses to say child s*x change surgeries should be illegal, claiming he doesn’t know enough about it. Disqualifying.” X Community Notes imposed a fact-check label on the piece, arguing, “This interview is 4 months old: https://m.youtube.com/live/yqxF3nJtShk?si=QLRFEpeLQ_hKFvrd He has since changed his views and no longer supports it.” The note referred to Kennedy’s website, which states that he “believes that those who wish to alter their bodies or express as another gender should be free to do so … he believes that gender-change surgeries and puberty blockers should not be given to minors.”
