X community adds a context note to a LibsOfTikTok post: LibsOfTikTok posted "This normally quiet, peaceful neighborhood in Florida was shaken this week when 3 illegals from Guatemala were arrested for forcing a woman into a car and s*xually ass*ulting her. Apparently FL also gives illegals drivers licenses! Biden’s open borders allows v*olent criminals to terrorize Americans." The post included a short news video clip about the incident in which it was disclosed that one of the immigrants had been cited for not having a driver's license, but that charges were not pursued after he agreed to pay $100 and obtain a license. The news reporter explained that when asked how an illegal could obtain a driver's license, the government official, responding to the request received after 9pm, indicated that he would have to review the full file the next day to answer the question. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. Florida does not issue drivers’ licenses to illegals. codes.findlaw.com/fl/title-xxiii… Florida also no longer recognizes driver's licenses from other states which knowingly issue them to illegal immigrants. flhsmv.gov/2023/07/11/icy…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system.
