Twitter removed Libertarian Party of Kentucky tweet for defending Kyle Rittenhouse: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another purportedly in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Libertarian Party of Kentucky (LPKY) tweeted about the incident and trial saying: "Watching this trial, it's ever more obvious that Kyle Rittenhouse did nothing wrong." Screenshots, tweeted by the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire, show that Twitter removed the LPKY's tweet claiming that it violated its "rules against glorifying violence." The notice explains that Twitter prohibits "content that condones or celebrates acts of violence that could promote imitation of the act" and "glorifying the perpetrators of such violence," according to screenshots. The photo also shows that the LPKY was forced to delete the tweet and "acknowledge that [its] tweet violated the Twitter Rules" in order to regain access to the account.
