Twitter places sensitive content interstitial over Lee Zeldin campaign ad: Lee Zeldin who is running against incumbent Gov. Kathy Hochul in New York's gubernatorial election, posted one of his TV campaign ads on Twitter. The ad showed short clips of violent crimes "in Kathy Hochul's New York" caught on security camera footage. Twitter placed a sensitive content interstitial over the ad, covering it and preventing mobile users from seeing it without changing their Twitter settings. Desktop users must click to view after reading the warning that says "The following media includes potentially sensitive content." Similar filters have been shown to reduce user interaction with content.
