Laura Loomer

Twitter community adds a context note to a Laura Loomer tweet: Laura Loomer posted a tweet saying "Trump supporters made Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds melt down on stage like a whiny baby. 'Hey you know what, here in Iowa, we are Iowa nice. So we are going to stop until you stop', she said, while speaking to Trump supporters like they are children. No Kim. @KimReynoldsIA. We are tired of being 'nice', and we will no longer be nice as people like you and @RonDeSantis attack Donald Trump while he’s being hunted down by the DOJ. You’re not nice, Kim. You’re just an ingrate like DeSantis and we will absolutely not be nice to either of you. We will assert ourselves, we will over power your voice at your events, and we will be much louder than you in the process." This was a quote-tweet of a tweet from miguelifornia that read "#IowaStateFair takeaways 1. Governor Kim Reynolds got triggered. 2. Rob DeSantis was defended by a girl." This tweet included a video allegedly taken from C-SPAN that showed Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds interviewing presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis, asking the crowd to quiet down and be 'Iowa nice' and let all the candidates speak. In the video included in the tweet, it appeared that Reynolds was responding to a crowd chanting 'we want Trump.' However, the chanting is absent in the C-SPAN broadcast footage. Twitter added a Community Note warning label to the post that read: "This is a deceptively edited video. The protesters were not pro-Trump protesters. It was a small group of pro-abortion activists. The video was edited to contain audio that did not exist. Original video: c-span.org/video/?529712-…"
