Twitter places a sharing restriction on editor of The Conservative Woman after she tweets a story about Ivermectin: Kathy Gyngell, editor of the British publication The Conservative Woman, tweeted an article she wrote about Ivermectin. "Ivermectin - it's been shadow banned. Why? Here is the answer," she wrote, attaching her article. The article suggested that one scientist's refusal to recommend Ivermectin research was due to his close association with Bill Gates and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The article was based on the testimony of Dr. Tess Lawrie laid out in the short film "A Letter to Dr Andrew Hill" created by Oracle Films. Twitter labeled Gyngell's tweet as "Misleading," and offered users a link to a Twitter curated feed to help users "Learn more about emerging treatments for COVID-19 from health experts." The platform also placed a sharing restriction on the tweet preventing users from commenting, retweeting, liking or saving quick links to the tweet. Users can only quote tweet the content if they would like to share it.
