Twitter forces data expert to delete tweet about mask wearing in order to return to platform: Data expert Justin Hart, who holds about 80,000 followers on Twitter, said he was forced by Twitter to delete a tweet of his from October 2020 about the ineffectiveness of mask wearing. Hart's tweet read: "So the CDC just reported that 70% of those who came down with #COvId19 symptoms had been wearing a mask. We know the masks don't protect you... but at some point you have to wonder if they are PART of the problem." Hart said that Twitter locked him out of his account until he deleted the tweet, which the platform claimed violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19."
