Twitter suspends @JesseKellyDC for a week over a tweet about Kyle Rittenhouse: The Twitterverse has been suffering from a lack of pithy tweets by Jesse Kelly recently after he ran afoul of Twitter's community standards on election day. Kelly reported the trouble on Parler, saying that he got a week's suspension because of a tweet about Kyle Rittenhouse. He tweeted a NY Post article which covered the fact that he was being held on $2 Million bail. Kelly said he does not regret his QT of the story on the day before the election, in which he opined, "But what if we need him tomorrow." Rittenhouse was the teenager who shot and killed some protestors in the Kenosha, WI riots, which he is expected to plead was done in self defense as he was under attack from them. Twitter didn't find Kelly's tweet as funny as he did. Kelly, whose tweets are typically prolific, is serving his Twitter sentence mostly in social media silence, with only two posts on Parler so far.
