Twitter community adds a context note to Francis Suarez tweet:  The official Twitter account for Republican presidential candidate and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez tweeted, “Twitter is Moving to Miami. We are thrilled to announce on Monday we will be hosting a press conference to welcome @elonmusk & @Twitter to the Magic City!" Twitter added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The added context read "This is an April Fools joke. Twitter is not moving to Miami. Sources (same user of this tweet): 1. twitter.com/francissuarez/… 2. Check previous edits of this tweet." The label is part of Twitter’s Community Notes system. Twitter users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to tweets.
