Instagram censors Family Research Council post: Family Research Council (FRC) posted to its Instagram page about the Biden administration's celebration of Easter. The first image claimed "Biden banishes Christian images, celebrates transgender day of visibility on Easter." The comment that went with the post read "'President Joe Biden’s most impactful legacy might be his alteration of America’s spiritual life. Late last week, the Biden administration prohibited children from expressing their Christian faith while redesignating Easter Sunday as the 'Transgender Day of Visibility.' Biden literally banished Christianity from a children’s contest celebrating its most joyful holiday while exalting a radical and harmful ideology in its place.'" Instagram placed a fact check label on the post that read "Missing Context. Independent fact-checkers say information in this post could mislead people." When users click on this label, it references two different fact checks. One is from FactCheck.org claiming the post is "Missing Context," titled "Partisan Controversy Over Easter and Transgender Day of Visibility." The other is from AFP Fact Check, concluding the post was "Partly False," with a summary that read "Conservative politicians, media mislead on White House Easter celebration."
