Twitter bans Dr. Zev Zelenko again after he opens new account: Dr. Zev Zelenko, the creator of the Zelenko HCQ (hydroxychloroquine) protocol, fell victim to Twitter's ban button once again. His account was first banned in December 2020 after he had been tweeting prolifically about COVID-19 as a medical expert. After it was announced that Elon Musk had bid to purchase Twitter, Zelenko was among many who chose to test out the perceived new waters, despite the fact that the deal was a long way from finalized and Musk at that time had no control over what Twitter did. Zelenko opened a new account, which amassed over 150,000 followers in approximately one week. Twitter quickly caught on, however, and banned the new account, reportedly citing its rules against ban evasion.
