Four Tweets from President Trump given Disputed Claim Warning Label: Tweets ranging from one containing an article from Fox News chronicling a Tucker Carlson monologue about dead people voting, in which Carlson states "We want to be accurate," to another disputing the claims of cybersecurity advisor Chris Krebs, have been given Twitter's "This claim about election fraud is disputed," warning label. When clicked on, the label takes you to a readout from Twitter insisting that voter fraud is "exceedingly rare in the US." Twitter announced in an Oct. 9 blog that labeled tweets are also “de-amplified” through the platform’s own recommendation systems. Trump has been hounded with these labels ever since the election and it doesn't seem like they will be going anywhere anytime soon. Throwing doubt at claims from the president, which many of the approximately 75 million American citizens who voted for him support, is something the social media giant and progressives appear to relish.
