Twitter locks Don Huffines' account after 'groomer' comment: Former Texas state senator Don Huffines commented on a video of an "all-ages" drag show. He said, "This is called grooming and it must stop." Twitter notified Huffines that the tweet violated the platform's rules against "hateful conduct," according to a purported screenshot obtained by Texas Scorecard. Twitter locked Huffines' account. To regain access, the platform instructed Huffines to delete the tweet. Huffines appealed Twitter's decision. It is unclear if Twitter responded to the appeal. In an official statement released by the Huffines Liberty Foundation, Huffines said, "Big Tech is aiding and abetting the federal government's censorship. Now, they are aiding and abetting the pedophiles throughout our state who want to indoctrinate your children. Big Tech is out of control and the enemy of all Texans." Twitter did not respond to MRC Free Speech America's request for comment at the time of publication.
