X community adds a context note to post about view numbers for first Republican debate: An X account posted, "Tucker Carlson’s video [with Donald Trump] on 𝕏 - 250 million views. GOP debate on Fox News - 12.8 million viewers." X added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The added context read "The 250m+ view count under Tucker's video is the number of times the *tweet* has been seen. help.twitter.com/en/using-twitt… X has removed the ability to see the *video* view count, which used to be a separate number, and this can only be viewed under 'Media Studio Analytics' by the poster of the video. help.twitter.com/en/using-twitt…” The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts.
