Diana Lynn
Case #
5004

Twitter labels a post by Diana Lynn as sensitive content: Self-styled Trump Supporter and Christian Diana Lynn responded to a tweet from TheTexasOne. In her own tweet, Lynn tagged TheTexasOne and included a link to one of her prior tweets, containing a Newsweek article. Twitter labelled Lynn’s response and claimed, “The following media includes potentially sensitive content.” Twitter’s sensitive content guidelines prohibit tweeting “graphic content,” which includes “violent crimes or accidents” and “physical fights.” However, Lynn’s tweet shows no such violence. The tweet contains only a link to the Newsweek story about the Tyre Nichols incident. Even the article itself shows no violent images or footage of the incident. Users who have not changed their default settings on Twitter cannot access the tweet via the app, and must click through the sensitive content interstitial to view the tweet on the desktop version of Twitter.
