X community adds a context note to DC_Draino post: Rogan O'Handley, known as DC_Draino, posted a Lara Logan post that contained a lengthy narrative that detailed a conspiracy theory that the container ship that hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, resulting in the bridge's collapse, was an "[a]ttack perfectly targeted." O'Handley added his own comments to the post, saying "Looking more & more like the bridge collapse was an intentional attack on American infrastructure It will take years to rebuild Possibly dozens dead The question now is - who did it? Iran for our support of Israel? Russia for Biden’s support of Ukraine? China…just because?" The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. There is currently no publicly available information suggesting that this incident was an intentional attack. The ship in question lost engine power and declared an emergency before colliding with the bridge. cnn.com/2024/03/26/us/… yahoo.com/news/live/balt… 'Gov. Wes Moore … said the crash appears to be an accident'" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts.
