X community adds a context note to journalist's post of alleged Trump Truth Social post: Journalist David Leavitt posted a screenshot of an alleged Donald Trump Truth Social post that read "Alina may have lost the case. She may not have the experience that was needed in this very high profile case, probably higher profile than she ever thought she would be involved in at this point. Maybe next time I'll choose a law firm and lawyer that has some more practical experience in high ticket litigation. But she stood her ground and she learned. Stay strong. MAGA!" Leavitt added his own commentary to this purported post, saying "“Next time” ?!?!? Do you plan on being sued by more women you’ve raped?" The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
