Twitter censors Daily Wire link, calling it potentially unsafe: The Daily Wire journalist Christina Buttons shared her new story with the Daily Wire on Twitter. She captioned the tweet, "NEW DATA: A study of nationwide hospital databases found that at least 1,130 adolescents between 2016 and 2019 received 'gender-affirming' chest surgeries in the U.S. An overwhelming majority (1,114) of the adolescents were female (98.6%). Read my latest!" Twitter placed a warning on the link, according to purported screenshots shared by Buttons. When a user attempted to like or share the tweet, they received a warning that said, "This Tweet may link to a harmful website" and asked users to reconsider before interacting with the tweet. When a user attempted to visit the linked URL, they received a warning titled: "Warning, this link may be unsafe." The categories listed for this warning include "malicious links that could steal personal information or harm electronic devices," "spammy links," "violent or misleading content that could lead to real-world harm," or other content that would violate Twitter's rules if posted directly on Twitter. There was a large button on this warning to abandon the story, and a very small link to go ahead to the article found at the linked URL.
