Australian Lawmaker forced to delete Facebook post about alternative COVID treatment: Craig Kelly has gotten a lot of flak from his opposition party in Australia for challenging the prevailing narratives about COVID-19. Facebook forced Kelly to delete one of his posts, and flagged two others with warning labels, for being at odds with World Health Organization advice, reported The Sydney Morning Herald. "The deleted post related to an August press release, shared by Kelly on his page, by Sydney gastroenterologist Dr Thomas Borody advocating the use of a 'triple therapy' of drugs ivermectin, doxycycline and zinc as a treatment for COVID-19," the Herald reported. Kelly argued that posting "legitimate comments from a highly qualified medical practitioner" should not be forcibly deleted by Facebook. Kelly is appealing Facebook's decision to remove the post. “The accusations against me that I’ve been publishing misinformation are misinformation themselves,” Kelly remarked.
