X community adds a context note to user's post: An X account known as Concerned Citizen posted "Breaking. Louisiana State, US This is HUGE.  The State of Louisiana just passed a bill by 37-0 to not allow a single rule, regulation, policy, tax or mandate to be enforced by the:- The WHO, The UN, The WEF. This ruling applies to any agency working on their behalf. Absolutely massive!" The post included a screenshot of the first page of Louisiana Senate Bill No. 133, with Section 24 highlighted. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. The State of Louisiana did not just pass a bill into law; the state Senate passed it. It must now pass the House before it can be signed into law. https://fastdemocracy.com/bill-search/la/2024/bills/LAB00022357/." The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
