Twitter censors Charlie Kirk for tweeting about a widely reported voting fraud story that was later amended: TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk took to Twitter to comment on a widely circulated report about voter fraud in Pennsylvania. The initial report from Pamela Geller's Geller Report stated that 372,000 ballots in Pennsylvania had been rejected for being duplicates. Kirk tweeted the following about this story: "Pennsylvania just rejected 372,000 mail-in ballots. One voter was said to have submitted 11 duplicate ballots. Pennsylvania might be the key to winning the White House. What's going on?" Although Kirk explained that this story was being shared widely, Twitter locked his account for "posting misleading information about voting" after the story was clarified to reflect the fact that it was mail-in ballot applications that were rejected for being duplicated, not actual mail-in ballots. Kirk described being in a "hostage situation" with Twitter demanding that he delete the offending tweet that had been based on the facts that were reported at the time. Once he deleted the tweet, he regained access to his account.
