Facebook fact-checkers hit a Blaire White post about identity-segregated Columbia University graduation ceremonies: Conservative commentator and trans-woman Blaire White posted on Facebook about Columbia University's identity-segregated alternate graduation ceremonies. She posted a screenshot listing five of the ceremonies, and commented: "This is DISGUSTING. Congrats society, we're so woke that we have segregation again." Facebook placed a fact-check note on the screenshot, saying that it was "Missing Context." When clicking through to find out why, it goes to an AP article that explains that "Columbia University holds a main graduation, as well as smaller ceremonies." This clarifies an assumption that simply commenting on the university holding segregated ceremonies means that the poster believes that these will be the only ceremonies. However, this was never stated, and any assumption that it was implied is on the part of the fact-checkers.
