Instagram fact-checks meme calling out Biden's hypocrisy on COVID-19 meds and crack pipes: Joe Biden's department of Health & Human Services (HHS) recently approved the distribution of "safe smoking kits" to drug users as part of a $30 million grant. An HHS spokesperson reportedly told the Washington Free Beacon that the kits would include crack pipes, but the administration insisted this was faulty reporting, and that the kits will not include pipes, yet offered no proof of the claim. However, the fact-checking cabal that is used by Facebook and Instagram rolled out in full force on behalf of the administration's claims. In this case, Instagram fact-checked a meme showing Joe Biden pushing away Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, two drugs that have been aggressively shunned at the behest of the administration despite showing some level of efficacy for treating COVID-19, while he made a welcoming gesture towards crack pipes. The fact-check labeled the content as "Missing Context." Instagram used three different fact-checks to support it's label, all from leftist fact-checker organizations. The Washington Free Beacon strongly condemned these fact-checks as false.
