X community adds a context note to Benny Johnson post:  Benny Johnson posted, "Joe Biden minutes after slipping on steps of Air Force One: 'I marched a lot of UAW picket lines when I was a Senator since 1973. But I tell you what---first time I've ever done it in person.'" The post included a video of the Biden remarks. X (formerly Twitter) added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The added context read "Biden states that this is the first time he has walked a picket line 'as President,' not 'in person.' Source: Original video in the post." A review of the video does reveal that, while the audio is somewhat difficult to discern, it is more likely that he said "as President." The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts.
