A post that was intended as a prank was fact-checked as "false information." The meme showed a sign saying "Did you know? Kansas City welcomes 25 million visitors anally." The Lead Stories article pointed out that "the image was digitally manipulated by a prankster," yet this was still worthy of a fact-check calling it "false." According to Facebook, users fail to click through such fact-check interstitials 95% of the time.
