Twitter forces user to delete three tweets about transgenderism: A Twitter user reported that she was forced to delete three tweets about transgenderism. The tweets read: “Alice Roberts ‘Prof of Public Engagement in Science’ has blocked me because I dissent with gender identity ideology. I believe fact that there are only 2 sexes - male / female -must not be denied on ideological grounds, as it is both scientifically and politically significant.” And “Good lord, ‘biological essentialism’ in no way figures in women’s objections to males in female spaces! Our objections are not to trans people. They are about fighting sex-based discrimination and sex-based violence. I wrote a thread - here’s a summary.” And “Are you unaware of the misrepresentation of gender identity ideology as ‘trans rights?” It really is not about trans rights. Forgive my home-made meme, but Twitter’s character limit makes it necessary.” (There followed a graphic she made which said -gender identity ideology is not a trans rights movement and is regressive, repressive, misogynistic, homophobic and misopedic).
