"Wildly popular" pro-America, pro-Trump apparel company permanently banned from Facebook: Facebook has permanently shut down the page of a lucrative pro-America and pro-Trump apparel company. Facebook indicated the company falsely claimed to sell official Trump campaign merchandise but instead sold non-affiliated gear. The CEO of the veteran-owned company, Shawn Wylde, told American Military News(AMN) "his company has never claimed to promote official Trump campaign merchandise." Wylde believes Facebooks is targeting his company for its pro-Trump stance. According to AMN, after banning the page Facebook informed Wylde that he could create a new page and continue his advertising, even offering to help him do so. "If they don’t put the page back, then we don't have much of a choice than to file a lawsuit," Wylde told AMN. "They acted in bad faith and their illegal actions have significantly cost my client in terms of revenue." American AF made $15 million in annual sales in 2019, according to AMN, and expects to reach $10 million in 2020. The company also spends significant sums on Facebook advertising, spending more than $16.6 million over the past five years, according to AMN. American AF designs have been shared by the likes of President Donald Trump himself, Donald Trump Jr., Fox News's Pete Hegseth, and more.
