AlphaFox

X community adds a context note to AlphaFox post: An X user who goes by AlphaFox posted, "Transgender Man Shocked After Finding Out He Is Six Weeks Pregnant! How can this be possible?!" The post included a video clip of a person who appears to be a woman and claims to be a man pushing back on a doctor and nurse that she is a man and therefore cannot possibly be pregnant. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. This video is a parody. x.com/alphafox78/sta…" Ironically, the link used in the note goes to a post the user added just below the original post that read "AlphaNote: This is a Parody - you have been informed, note not required." The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk recently shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will now be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
