Twitter Backtracks after Locking Allie Beth Stuckey's Account: Political commentator Allie Beth Stuckey was locked out of her account after criticizing Fox News for running a segment "celebrating a girl whose parent 'transitioned' her into a boy when she was 5 because she apparently told them she was a boy 'before [she] could talk.' Absolutely maddening & heartbreaking." Twitter locked Stuckey's account for reportedly violating its rules against hateful conduct. "You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease," the Twitter notice said. Stuckey appealed the action and her account was restored. Twitter claimed it reviewed her account and made an error. "We've determined there was no violation and have restored [the] account to full functionality." After the incident, Stuckey tweeted her thanks to "the agitators" for reportedly helping her regain access to her account.
