Ali Alexander

Conservative personality in charge of Jan. 6 #StopTheSteal march in D.C. locked out of Twitter account, forced to delete tweet: Ali Alexander, a leading conservative voice in the #StopTheSteal movement, is organizing a Jan. 6 #StopTheSteal march in Washington. In a tweet he wrote out instructions for those attending the event. Included in the directions were instructions not to wear masks. Twitter deleted the tweet and temporarily suspended Alexander by taking away his account's ability to post new tweets for 12-hours. "I’ve been suspended from my Twitter account for a 12-hour ban," Alexander wrote on Twitter alternative Parler. "Fellow #StopTheSteal coordinator, @michaelcoudrey, has a 7 day suspension. They are trying to kill the #JAN6 event. Help us: WildProtest.com." Twitter indicated Alexander's tweet was in violation of the platform's policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19.
