Twitter censors writer Alex Gutentag for citing information also included in Pfizer news release: Twitter claimed writer Alex Gutentag's COVID-19 tweet was "misleading." According to the purported screenshot, Gutentag tweeted, "Today FDA advisors voted unanimously to approve Pfizer's 3-dose vaccine for children 6 months to 5 years old. Parents need to know that Pfizer's claim of 80% efficacy is based on just 10 covid cases after the 3rd dose in the trial. 10 cases - that's it. How is this not a scandal?" A Twitter user called out the platform for fact-checking Gutentag's tweet for citing information that was also included in a Pfizer press release. Twitter claimed the post was "misleading" and restricted viewers ability to share, like or comment on the tweet. The notice advised viewers to "Learn why health officials consider COVID-19 vaccines safe for most people." At the time of publication, Twitter had removed the fact check notice from the tweet.
