Radio host Mark Levin called for Congress to look into George Soros’ tax returns, calling for the leftist billionaire to be held accountable for his financial support for Pro-Hamas organizations.
Levin named a number of the Pro-Hamas groups funded by Soros during the Oct. 30 edition of the Mark Levin Show. He cited a New York Post article which details how Soros has been funding groups that have shown support for the terrorist group Hamas such as Jewish Voice for Peace, Adalah Justice Project, Desis Rising Up and Moving, Arab American Association of New York and If Not Now. Levin didn’t mince words in his call to action to the Republican-led House of Representatives: “It’s time to investigate George Soros’ network.” The segment follows MRC Business’s exposé of Soros-funded organization Al-Shabaka celebrating Hamas’ invasion and wanton slaughter of Israeli civilians on Oct. 7. Soros gave $550,000 to the radical group between 2017 and 2021 alone. MRC Business was also the first to resurface the elder Soros’ 2007 op-ed which underscores his anti-American and anti-Israel extremism: “America and Israel Must Open the Door to Hamas.”
Levin went on to ask his listeners, “Have you noticed that [Soros’] filthy, bloody, stinking hands are on everything?”
“I have a question, the Internal Revenue Service gives these groups a nonprofit status when they’re promoting terrorism? Or supporting it through their protests and actions in this country?” Levin asked. Later in the program, Levin went further. “How come they’re not looking into George Soros? How come we don’t get his tax returns?” Levin asked before adding, “He’s spending his money to destroy America. That’s what he’s doing. Somebody needs to look into that and if not Congress, who?”
Levin and the Post both cited MRC President Brent Bozell’s and MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider’s letter to Soros and his son Alex calling on them to denounce every group they’ve funded that has expressed support for Hamas. “George Soros and his son Alex have a long history of supporting the most radical organizations across the planet, and that includes pro-Hamas organizations that support the most heinous kind of behavior,” Schneider said in a statement. Schneider also suggested that Soros was unlikely to change course:: “We’ve called on George Soros to withdraw this funding, but he seems very determined to continue supporting antisemitic organizations that want to upend western civilization.”
Earlier in the show, Levin brought up the hypocritical congressional treatment of former president Donald Trump’s tax returns after he left office, suggesting that there was far more cause for an investigation into Soros’ finances. “When Donald Trump’s tax returns were released to Congress, he was a private citizen.” He continued: “Why don’t we get George Soros’ tax returns? This guy is an anti-American, absolute wrecking ball.”
