YouTube removes a Yonkers Police Headquarters video: The Yonkers Police Headquarters posted a video of security camera footage. The video showed a black man attacking an Asian woman, punching and kicking her multiple times. YouTube removed the video and the Yonkers Police appealed the claim. According to screenshots from the Yonkers Police’s Twitter account, YouTube claimed that the content “violates our violent or graphic content policy.” YouTube initially refused to put up the video again. However, two days after the Yonkers Police posted YouTube’s response to the appeal, Twitter reinstated the video with age restrictions.
