Twitter community adds a context note to The White House’s tweet: The White House from its official account tweeted, “In President Biden’s first two and a half years in office, he’s created more jobs than any President in a four-year term,” along with a picture of President Biden at a podium. Twitter added a warning label to the post. The header of the label says, “Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The warning continues, “The use of the word create is manipulation. Nearly 72 percent of all job gains since 2021 were simply jobs that were being recovered from the pandemic, not new job creation.” It also links to an article from PolitiFact.
