LinkedIn removes doctor's post of a PubMed link to published study, citing "misinformation": In Sept. 2025, LinkedIn stepped in to label as "misinformation" a study published in the Japan Medical Association Journal titled "Significant Increase in Excess Deaths after Repeated COVID-19 Vaccination in Japan." Dr. Wafik S. El-Deiry attempted to post a link to the article in PubMed to his LinkedIn account. LinkedIn claimed the post "doesn't comply with our Professional Community Policies on misinformation. It's been removed from LinkedIn and only you can access it."
