Reddit mod deletes post of study on the origins of COVID-19 claiming it wasn't 'high quality information:' A Reddit user posted a study that examines the genome of COVID-19 and the possibility of laboratory origins. The study was conducted by Bernd Kaina a German toxicologist and professor at the The University Medical Center Mainz. He concludes that "evidence is lacking that the virus was intentionally genetically engineered" however he also acknowledges that there is a "possibility that the virus could have emerged unintentionally through laboratory experiments." A Reddit mod for r/Caronavirus, Dr. Jennifer Cole, a self described "biological anthropologist" and a research fellow at the Royal Holloway University of London, deleted the post and claimed that the user "should contribute only high-quality information." She then cited the subreddit's rules: "We require that users submit reliable, fact-based information to the subreddit"
