Facebook places sensitive content filter over Tucker Carlson's video at behest of The Washington Post: The Tucker Carlson Tonight Facebook page posted a video trailer of The Patriot Purge, a documentary series about the January 6 Capitol riot that recently aired on Fox Nation. One of the people interviewed in the documentary said that the Jan. 6 Capitol riot "may have been" a "false flag." The Washington Post complained that the video had not yet been fact checked because Facebook fact-checker PolitiFact had already addressed claims that the riot was staged. The newspaper claimed it asked Facebook about the post and "spokesman Andy Stone said the post is eligible for fact-checking. After The Technology 202 inquired about Carlson's post on Monday, Facebook added a “sensitive content” warning to the video." Users must click through the sensitive content interstitial in order to view the filtered content. Not only do such filters give the impression of inappropriate content but similar filters have been shown to reduce user interaction with content.
