Google suppresses relevant and neutral results for Republican media figures: Multiple MRC Free Speech America (MRCFSA) studies have exposed how Google has suppressed right-leaning websites in search. MRCFSA researchers conducted a Google search for the words "Tucker Carlson" on October 20, 2025 to find the podcaster and former Fox News host's profile or a link to his website or news outlet. The first page of search results that Google displayed prioritized articles from leftist outlets about Carlson and his Wikipedia profile above his X and YouTube accounts, thereby suppressing his own changes to the 7th result and lower. According to data from Backlinko's analysis, these results get no more than a 3.9 percent click-through rate, while the top result receives more than 27 percent.
