Google suppresses relevant and neutral results for Republican media figures: Multiple MRC Free Speech America (MRCFSA) studies have exposed how Google has suppressed right-leaning websites in search. MRCFSA researchers conducted a Google search for the words "Stephen Miller" on October 20, 2025 to find the White House deputy chief of staff for policy's profile or social media account. The first page of search results that Google displayed prioritized articles from leftist outlets about Miller and his Wikipedia profile above his profile on the Young America's Foundation web site, which was the seventh result provided. Before listing his White House profile page, Google first linked to the leftist Souther Poverty Law Center's biased profile on him. According to data from Backlinko's analysis, results in the seventh spot or lower on a Google search results page get no more than a 3.9 percent click-through rate, while the top result receives more than 27 percent.
