Twitter censors user for recommending Bret Weinstein podcast discussing Ivermectin: A Twitter user shared screenshots of his Twitter censorship notice. Tweeting from a new account, he noted that he "WILL NEVER DELETE THAT TWEET." The tweet in question read: ""I highly recommend Bret Weinstein's podcast, 'Dark Horse.' In the latest episode, Bret and his wife, Heather Heying, (both PhD's in biology) discuss, RATIONALLY, various aspects of Covid, including the 'verboten' topic of Ivermectin." It included a link to the episode. Twitter claimed that the tweet violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19." The user's account was locked out until he decides to delete the tweet. According to the notice, once the tweet is deleted, his account will then serve a 12 hour restriction during which time he will only be able to browse Twitter and use DMs. Instead, the user has set up a new account, which is a violation of Twitter's Terms of Service, which could lead to the new account being shut down for ban evasion if caught.
