Twitter censors user for promoting fasting: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of another user's censorship notice. The censored user tweeted "Fasting is the fastest way to detox your body completely. Start w 24 hrs a couple times then 48 then 72 water and coffee only." Despite fasting being a safe and very popular method right now, Twitter's terrible AI algorithm determined that this tweet violated its "rules against promoting or encouraging suicide or self-harm." The user's account was locked until he deleted the tweet. It was also reported that his account was placed in a read-only restricted mode for 12 hours after he deleted the tweet, but this could not be confirmed.
