YouTube deletes video of interview with one of Trump's 2020 election lawyers: The Steamboat Institute, a conservative nonprofit, hosted an event that included an interview with John Eastman, one of former President Donald Trump's 2020 election attorneys. The moderator of the interview raised questions about "why the Trump campaign lost so many court cases, whether or not the Supreme Court was wrong to refuse the case brought by Texas alleging illegal changes to voting laws in the run-up to the election, if the campaign will release all of the evidence they claim to have now that they’ve exhausted most of their court challenges, and more," according to The Spectator. After the Steamboat Institute posted a recording of the interview to its YouTube channel, the platform deleted it claiming that the video violated its policy on misinformation, according to The Spectator. The Steamboat Institute then tried to post the same footage under a different title, but it was also ultimately deleted. The nonprofit eventually resorted to Canadian video-sharing platform Rumble to post the recorded interview.
