Simon Ateba

LinkedIn deletes a post from Simon Ateba of Today News Africa quoting former presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy's reaction to a verdict in the Trump Stormy Daniels case: In the quote, Ramaswamy predicted that the guilty verdict against President Donald Trump "will backfire," while also pointing out the blatant corruption and bias of Judge Juan Merchan, whose own daughter raised millions of dollars off of the Trump trial. Without enumerating why, LinkedIn claimed that Ateba's post went against its Community Guidelines, according to a screenshot Ateba shared to his X account. “Only you can see this post. It's been removed because it goes against our Professional Community Policies,” LinkedIn's message read. Ateba pointed out that this removal was blatant censorship. He also warned his audience that censorship of this kind by Big Tech is likely to only get worse as the 2024 election date gets closer. “Folks, expect more censorship,” Ateba wrote in a post. “The 2024 Presidential election in the United States might be compromised by Big Tech. It won't just be LinkedIn, it will be @Facebook, @tiktok_us and probably @X where there has been a ban on my account for weeks now.” He added, “May God help us.”
