Sara Higdon

Twitter removed Sara Higdon's tweet commenting on transgender ideology and mental illness: The Twitter account "Trans Against Groomers" tweeted that Twitter locked its transsexual Communications Director Sara Higdon's account. Twitter deleted a tweet from a back-and-forth tweet conversation between Higdon and a user who goes by Chaos Station. According to Trans Against Groomers' screenshots, Higdon's deleted tweet read: "Being gay was removed from the list of mental illnesses in 1973, this isn’t anything to do with wokeness. Pansexual is basically the same thing as bisexual. None are on the list, none have anything really to do with dysphoria." Twitter removed the tweet for allegedly "violating our rules against hateful conduct," but the platform reversed its decision and restored the tweet by December 31. This came just days after Twitter removed another Higdon tweet which referred to transgender ideology as a "mental illness." Trans Against Groomers tweeted: "Seriously @TwitterSupport, @elonmusk, again? @SaraHigdon_ is locked out, this time for *checks notes* defending gay people??" Twitter did not respond to MRC Free Speech America's request for comment.
