Twitter censors popular conservative user for tweet about COVID-19: A popular Twitter account from a conservative mom was censored over a tweet about COVID-19. The user was quote tweeting a tweet containing a video interview with Laura Ingraham about Los Angeles planning to reimplement the mask requirement. Her comment about the interview read: ".@lapublichealth is desperate to impose the facial niqab on our children as well. But the 'need' for public health to 'do something' is all based on the lie that hospitalization numbers mean something. Not when only 10% of Covid admits are for disease." Twitter, according to a purported screenshot shared by the doctor featured in the Ingraham interview, claimed that her tweet violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19." The user's account was locked until she deleted the tweet, and her account was also "temporarily limited" to a read-only mode, but it was unclear how long this restriction would last.
