Meta removes a meme referencing QAnon a full four years after it was posted to Facebook: A Facebook user posted a meme to her account in 2020 that depicted a 'Q' painted over with the American flag. The caption read, "Q SENT ME. WWG1WGA." The abbreviation stands for "Where We Go One, We Go All," a slogan popular amongst the QAnon movement. The user posted on her X account four years later that Meta had just removed the post and restricted her account. According to screenshots she shared, Meta told the user that her post violated the platform's prohibition on "violent organizations." "It looks like you shared or sent symbols, praise or support of people and organizations we define as dangerous, or followed them," read Meta's notice. The user expressed deep frustration at this characterization of Q, and of the censorship she was subjected to.
