Facebook censors anthropologist for post discussing Ursa Major constellation, which through the year forms a swastika-like image: Anthropologist Robert Sepehr was censored by Facebook for a strange reason. He made a post that read: "Although the whole of Ursa Major is difficult to see without very dark skies, the Big Dipper is one of the most recognizable patterns in the northern sky. In ancient England, Ursa Major was King Arthur's home and was called Arthur's Chariot" followed by a swastika symbol. It was accompanied by 2 images, one of King Arthur, the other showing the Big Dipper in its four seasonal locations, which form the image of a swastika, and a link to a video about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBUeOVrk7Nc. Facebook deemed this to be a violation of it's "standards on dangerous individuals and organizations," though a Twitter user explained that "the Swastika was a sacred symbol thousands of years before the Nazis got a hold of it," and the post itself explains this. Since the censorship, Sepehr's personal page as well as a group that he ran have been removed from Facebook, though it is not clear whether Facebook removed them or if he did it himself.
