Rio Grande Foundation

YouTube censors Rio Grande Foundation for an interview with a former pediatric cardiologist about COVID-19: Paul Gessing, President of New Mexico's free market think tank Rio Grande Foundation, shared a screenshot of the group's YouTube censorship notice on Twitter. According to Gessing, the video that YouTube objected to included an interview with Dr. Deane Waldman, "former pediatric cardiologist at UNMH on #covid19." The episode was titled "Episode 368: Dr. Deane Waldman - Medical Establishment Failures." In a blog post he wrote about the incident, he wrote that, while YouTube claimed that the video violated its medical misinformation policy, the Rio Grande Foundation "HAS NEVER opposed the vaccines." He went on to say that "there appear to be some legitimate concerns about certain heart issues in young men and menstrual changes in women, which he discussed with the doctor on the censored episode. The full video is accessible on the blog post and on the organization's Rumble channel. The Rio Grande Foundation is a member of the Free Speech Alliance.
